Apprenticeships, exploitation and young people’s rights at work

Young apprentices are vulnerable to exploitation by their employers, and education about their workplace rights is limited. To be able to report exploitation at work, many young apprentices fear losing their jobs or that their training won’t be recognised, forcing them to start their training all over again. How do we address the culture and treatment of young apprentices so that apprenticeship pathways look more encouraging?
